INTRODUCTION

 

Eating raw plant based foods is easy and fun and I am excited to show you just how simple it can be.

My name is Jisele Tuuri and I am a Women’s Anti-Aging Strategist & the creator of lovingrawfoods.com.

I love sharing my knowledge and experience with you so that you have the tools to make healthier choices in your life.

By incorporating more raw plant based foods into your life, (fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, smoothies and/or juicing), you will notice some incredible things happening within your body.

This is because foods that haven’t been heated or cooked over 118 degrees still have the vitamins, minerals and enzymes still intact.

This gives your body the tools it needs to rebalance itself, which is what the body is naturally designed to do.

I was in my late 40’s when I was lead to this lifestyle.

I was experiencing premenopausal symptoms of hot flashes, night sweats, anxiety, depression and I just couldn’t think straight.

 I felt miserable and I started searching for many different ways to find some relief from what felt like a deep hole that I couldn’t crawl out of.

I tried conventional and alternative methods and found temporary relief for a few days and then the symptoms would return.

I tried taking different supplements including something to feed my adrenal glands since stress can exhaust the adrenals.

It helped….for a little while.

I was told by a, well meaning, nurse practitioner that anti-depressants and Premarin would help alleviate the hot flashes along with the other pre-menopausal symptoms.

 For one I didn’t feel comfortable taking an anti-depressant, especially for any length of time and well quite honestly I’m not a horse and Premarin is made with mare’s urine.

Next!

My last desperate attempt was to take bio identical hormone replacement therapy which is supposed to be more “body friendly” than the regular hormone replacement therapy or HRT.

The idea of constantly getting my blood drawn to test my levels, Estrogen, Testosterone and Progesterone just wasn’t appealing to me.

I could think of better things to do with my time.

Thank God for girlfriends!

They always seem to come to the rescue.

One of my girlfriends introduced me to a video by Victoria Botenko who was showing how to consume more fresh fruits and veggies for improved health.

She explained how she and her family were all suffering from different health problems, excess weight, diabetes, etc.

Victoria introduced her family to uncooked plant based foods and eliminated the offending foods.

New found health and energy became the norm instead of the exception for her family.

The offending foods are refined sugar, flour, gluten, processed foods, dairy and meats which can all create inflammation in the body because they are all highly acidic.

How to Get Your Family on Board

………………..Reach out to other parents about what you are doing and how you are determined to have a better quality of life for you and your family.

Explain to your partner that by eating foods that are packed with vitamins, minerals and enzymes that you have more energy for fun and pleasure.

(Yes, raw foods enhances sexual pleasure!)

When you feel good in your body you can think more clearly, your focus is better so you can accomplish more in less time and it can be done without overwhelm.

You also will notice the more raw foods you incorporate into your life that your hormones start balancing out which means less or no mood swings, PMS, hot flashes, anxiety or foggy thinking.

This also pertains to teens during puberty.

You notice your body reshaping in delightful ways as a natural benefit and you begin to feel more appreciation for what you see in the mirror and for your life.

So have fun with it!
